Inter have made progress on their effort to sign Sime Vrsaljko from Atletico Madrid. There have been positive contacts between the clubs in the last few hours, and Inter are also confident in agreeing to a deal with the player. The figures of the deal should be around €25 million, comprised of an €8 million loan plus €17 million purchase option for the Croatian fullback.
The high loan fee is based on a future option to purchase the player, which would be a different deal than the loan with forced option included in the deal for Politano. Inter are hoping that Vrsaljko is able to come on Monday or Tuesday to Milan for his medicals.
