Juventus, Douglas Costa: "I thought about retirement, thanks to so many injuries."

Juventus winger Douglas Costa gave an interview to The Players' Tribune in which he discussed a number of the struggles that have kept him out during this season and throughout his career. His injury plague was a serious toll, Costa revealed, and he discussed his reactions: "I was hit with so many injuries that at times I asked myself if I should go on playing. But I would watch the matches on TV and remember that football is my passion, and that I would be still able to play at high levels.
