Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has announced his departure from the club. He spoke about the decision with Bein Sports, which will be effective at the end of the current season. "I believe I have given all I have for this team. I have gotten back everything and there's nothing more to be done. We are at the end of a cycle and it's right to upset the order."
"Future? Either retire, or if I find a situation which motivates me to play or experience something new in life, I will consider it."
"We have been lacking consistency. Facing the top 5-6 teams in the table we would often win, sometimes draw, and rarely lose. But we always played an even match. Against the lower table we stupidly lost points. That means that we are a team whose character must grow."
"I have a great relationship with Ronaldo. He and I think a lot alike. He scored many goals like always, just as in recent years. We can exalt an individual when the team performs at its best. If this doesn't happen then individual performances don't matter as much."
