A small step forward for Italy, who, in the new FIFA ranking moves up one spot to the eighteenth place with 1539 points. There is no change in the lead: Belgium is the leader (even if be only one point) on France, with Brazil closing in on the podium. Portugal bypasses Uruguay in sixth place, whilst Argentina advances to only one position away from the top 10. Germany (who will now play in the UEFA Nations League B) collapses instead as they lose two positions (whilst Sweden and the Netherlands move up). The Scandinavians record the clearest improvement, passing from the seventeenth to the fourteenth position.
