After the Europa League draw, Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti commented the match-up against Rapid Wien with Sky Sport: "It was a good draw but no game is easy. Let's see how we are doing in February, but we want to be protagonists. It's a pity that we got knocked out of the Champions League but now we have to look forward and focus on the Europa League".
The former Inter captain was asked also about the situation of the current Nerazzurri's skipper Mauro Icardi, amidst of the negotiations for a contract extension: "Mauro is happy and serene. He has a great relationship with the club and for the contract extension we have to wait for the right time. The January transfer window? The team is already strong as it is, we will evaluate some things and we will make some moves, should some opportunities to bolster the team arise", conluded Zanetti.
