Inter have a great meeting tonight in the Champions League, against Barcelona. An important match for which the Nerazzurri are getting prepared as the vice president Javier Zanetti who gave a long interview to Marca where he's talked about this big game but also about the ambitious projects of the "new" Inter.
"This is a club that still has a lot to do. We're in a solid and positive moment, especially after the Chinese investments. There still are a lot of improvement margins. Inter come from a difficulty phase but after Suning's arrival, everything's been restructured. What's clear is that in order to make the things go well on the pitch, you also have to do it out of it. That's why we have a lot of people who know what Inter's DNA is made of".
Regarding the Champions League, Zanetti spoke about tonight's game: "I'm expecting a very complicated game, they have quality in each unit but Inter are able to beat them. Both of the teams are in a good moment. I don't think we'll see a different Barca, they won't change their philosophy. They'll want to have the main role but we can create them some problems".
About Lionel Messi: "It's a pleasure seeing him play, but I hope he'll stay a bit on the bench... Knowing him, he surely will want to play".
"Icardi is our captain and our reference point, he's also really happy at Inter. We're not aware of any Real Madrid interest in him. We know Inter is a sane club, so we don't have to sell anyone".
