The past few weeks have been rather tumultuous at Inter and during today’s press conference to introduce the match against Bologna, Luciano Spalletti was asked about his job status:”Conte can walk around where he likes, Marotta has to do what is best for the club and to improve its future. Then you have to work on a daily basis which is what we are doing. If he was referring to that I see he’s laughing so it must be that. If then this story is brought up, in my opinion Marotta knows how these things work and for the way the media is portraying this it doesn’t represent his style or his professionalism. “The way the news is reported is offensive to Marotta’s qualities as a professional, because this is how amateurs would act and not someone like Marotta. This is the news but when you repeat it many times it seems you are doing it on purpose not to represent what happened”.
