When Inter return to the field on Monday, they will be facing Hellas Verona at the Bentegodi with the objective of taking back the first place spot in Serie A . In his pre match press conference, coach Luciano Spalletti commented on the match and the competition in the league: "There are many squads in the running. Not only the ones in front but also Fiorentina and Sampdoria, who are coming back strong. We cannot allow ourselves to slow down. So we must not give up points tomorrow. We will get the results we want by winning. Brozovic has recovered and looked good in the last training session. Vecino as well is back in form after training apart for 1.5 sessions. I substituted him against Samp for that reason. If he hadn't I wouldn't have done it. Vecino can do everything: he can shoot from distance and can move forward with the ball at his feet. We paid for him what he was worth, Fiorentina aren't stupid, he was worth what his release clause was. Transfer market in January? We are not comfortable talking about that now. It's a little like discussing the scudetto. For me it's not worth talking about. If it's necessary we will make moves but we won't name specific players. Champions League? The head-to-head matches will be critical. There are many of them becuase Sampdoria and Atalanta are good teams. Torino are too. There are the six strongest teams which will become seven because there is always a surprise team. Watch what Lazio does today."
