After a promising pre-season campaign, Argentinian striker Lautaro Martinez is yet to leave is mark in the Serie A. The former Racing Club player discussed his first months at the Nerazzurri and how he is getting along with his fellow countryman and teammate Mauro Icardi: "I am learning a lot from Icardi, he is helping me and I want to thank him for that, we spend a lot of time together. He is always there to help his teammates and he is also a very strong player", Lautaro said to the Argentinian newspaper El Clarin.
"We are a new team, there are many new signings. We are starting to know each other and we are trying to assimilate Spalletti's idea of football and try to replicate them on the pitch. I am happy to play Champions League, we will play great games against Tottenham, Barcelona and PSV. We will try our best to make history", concluded the Argentina international.
