Despite the loss in Sunday against Roma, Inter hasn't given up on qualifying for the next edition of the Champions League. The nerazzurri's captain Mauro Icardi spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport about his team's state of mind:"You need to always put behind you the bad results and look ahead, especially when you held your own against the opponent. Champions? We're still in the race and we'll continue to believe until the numbers tell us we can't qualify. I believe strongly in third place, we all do, the objective hasn't changed. We have the duty to try until the end, I'm very optimistic"
Despite Bauza's visit to Inter, Icardi hasn't gotten any closer to Argentina's national team:"I have to keep saying same things. My job is to do well at Inter and score every chance that I get, then the selection is up to the coach and his choices. I can just say I'm ready and can't wait to wear that jersey"
