Inter and Cagliari have had an official meeting regarding Barella for the first time today. Both clubs are optimistic regarding the Sardinian midfielder’s transfer to the Nerazzurri: Cagliari have requested €50m between transfer fee and bonuses.
Inter are planning to make a 35m and 15m bonuses offer. Players like Bastoni (who would be loaned out with option to buy and re-buy option for Inter) and Eder, who’s playing for the other club owned by Suning, Chinese side Jiangsu Suning, could be counterparts of the 35m fixed sum part of the deal. Karamoh doesnt seem like an option any longer for Cagliari on the other hand.
Both clubs will meet again soon and are optimistic to close the deal.
