Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio believes that the club is "in line with the results we want to obtain". Interviewed by Radio 1 during the show "Radio Anch'io", Ausilio talked about yesterday's win against Chievo and the future of two of Inter's pillars: "We played a good match yesterday, every team have their goals so every match is a battle. It's true that the goalscorers are always Icardi and Perisic, but I believe that they are two strikers, they are paid to score, so it is how it has to be. The qualification to the Champions League is not a decisive factor in keeping Spalletti and Icardi. We want to plan our future on the long run with our coach, as we want to do with Mauro. They are two cornerstones for club's future". Ausilio discussed also the upcoming game against Juventus, fundamental for both teams: "A good game on Saturday will help us in reaching our goal. As of today, we are in line with the results we wanted to obtain, we have to keep pace with the team above us and try and win every game. Not qualifying for the Champions League doesn't change much, we must evaluate this season on the base of many parameters. Qualifying would be a big boost from an economic and prestige point of view, not qualifying wouldn't be fair towards our supporters. We have the moral obligation to believe in getting qualification, because we are part of a big club".
