Carlo Ancelotti, out of a job since leaving Bayern Munich last September, is one of the top names being rumored to take over Italy's national team. The emergency director of the FIGC, Roberto Fabbricini, commented to Ansa about the prospects of the ex-Juventus and Milan coach returning to Italy: "We have spoken about it, but for now there has only been an initial approach. We haven't discussed wages, but it seems to me that he likes the idea of coaching the Azzurri." According to Fabbricini, Ancelotti has returned to Canada, and was visiting Rome for family reasons: "We just had time to have a coffee, we will meet again before the end of the month. We will definitely know more by that time."
