Inter and Milan have set their sights on two Barcelona players. The Rossoneri are in fact targeting French centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo, who made only three appereances this seson with the Blaugrana. For the centre half position, the Rossoneri are still considering the option to knock at Juventus's door for Merih Demiral, however a possible deal appears to be more complicated since the Turkish international has managed to earn more playing time under Sarri lately.
Another Blaugrana player that is in the radar of a Milan-based club is Arturo Vidal, pursued by Inter. The Chilean midfielder is a player that would be welcomed with open arms especially by his former coach Antonio Conte after their spell together at Juventus. The nerazzurri are also working towards the signing of Udinese's Rodrigo De Paul. What remains to be seen is if the signing of one between Vidal and De Paul would exclude the signing of the other, or if the club wants to bolster their midfield with both players during the January transfer window.
The talks between parties regarding both deals, Todibo-Milan and Vidal-Inter, are ongoing, after the meetings that the clubs had with both their Spanish counterpart and the players' agents. From today on the negotiations will enter a crucial phase.
