After a turbulent past few months, Mauri Icardi issued a statement to clarify his position regarding the future. The striker posted a note on his Instagram account today:”Since recently multiple times certain elements of the media have reported things that do not reflect my intentions, I want to inform our fans that I have told the club multiple times that my intention is to stay at Inter. This way starting today there will be no misunderstanding”
Icardi went on:”I understand the media’s interest in reporting fake new but more than personally clarifying things I can’t do much. I repeat, I told Inter I want to stay because Inter is my family. Time will tell who said the truth. Forza Inter, always”.
