Hellas Verona are focused on returning to Serie A after their recent relegation. The plan is to give new manager Fabio Gross some significant reinforcements starting with Christian Maggio. The gialloblu have in fact reached an agreement with the former Napoli captain on financial terms, now Maggio must decide if he wants to move his family to Veneto or stay closer to Napoli by joining Benevento.
In addition to Grosso, Hellas Verona would also like to reunite Grosso with striker Andrea Favilli, the former Juventus Primavera player spent last season at Ascoli. Favilli will likely spend the summer retreat with Allegri’s squad before joining a new team, at the moment he has offers from Serie A clubs but Verona is banking on his familiarity with Grosso.
