After being relegated back to Serie B, Benevento is thinking of how they can reinforce their squad and return back to Serie A: a project that begins with the transfer market, where they have been very active thus far. In fact, they have reached an agreement with Antonio Nocerino, who will sign his contract with the club in the coming days. The deal will be for one year with an option for a second. The agreement has been reached today with the director of sport, Pasquale Foggia.
They have also closed a deal for Riccardo Improta, a striker from Genoa that has arrived in the deal that sent Sandro to to Genoa. They are also working on the details to bring young Juventus midfielder Tello to the team, and are still trying for ex-Napoli right-back, Cristian Maggio, but Hellas Verona are ahead in that race.
