The Euros start  tomorrow in France and everyone’s eyes will be on the opener tomorrow but no one is going to forget that the mercato has just begun. Interesting developments from the capital city of Euro hosts France: Paris Saint-Germain full-back Gregory Van Der Wiel met with Roma today to understand if there is a possibility to reach a deal and Unai Emery is set to be Laurent Blanc’s replacement. In turn Sevilla is looking at names such as Jorge Sampaoli and Rudi Garcia to take over as head coach. South of Paris there has been a lot of activity in Montecarlo with AS Monaco receiving Napoli’s first offer for right-back Fabinho and Real Madrid meeting Mino Raiola to discuss wages for Pogba if the Frenchman were to move to Spain.

Back in Italy Juventus is very active at the moment, today they spoke with Roma to discuss the modality of the payment and the sums required to bring Pjanic to Turin as soon as possible, whilst they remain active on the Benatia front. Juve is also busy with players who might be leaving the club: Padoin is very close to a Cagliari move whilst obviously keeping track of every single encounter between Pogba’s entourage and the neo-Champions League winners. Roma isn’t only looking at Van Der Wiel to fix up the defense, other names are Real Madrid’s Nacho Fernandez, Inter’s Juan Jesus (Spartak Moscow is also in the race for the Brazilian) and Widmer who Roma has been chasing for a while but is also on Napoli’s radar. Napoli is very active at the moment: negotiations with Hector Herrera and Zielinski are ongoing, whilst for the defense Monaco wants 20 million to part ways with Fabinho. Sampdoria has taken the first steps to bring Belgian talent Dennis Praet to Genova.  Inter representatives had lunch with Sassuolo to discuss Acerbi and Duncan and tomorrow will have a meeting with Yaya Toure’s entourage to understand if the player is willing to accept lower wages to join the Nerazzurri. Bologna makes progress in negotiations for Giuseppe Rossi.

Meanwhile in England, Torino is looking to obtain Chalobah from Chelsea and Mourinho’s Manchester United renewed Michael Carrick’s contract.
