Gilardino decides to retire as a player: his future will be as a manager

A World Cup winner and UEFA Champions League winner, among others, has decided to retire from playing football. Alberto Gilardino successfully acquired his UEFA A and B licenses and it is for this reason why he has decided to retire: he will not able to take the field for another Italian team due to acquiring his managerial licenses. In the coming weeks, he will dedicate himself to the studios and watching the games in the stands to be prepared when the time comes that a club decides to choose him as their manager.
