Despite moving to China to Jiangsu Suning, Eder has still a deep bond with his former team Inter, as he showed in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport: "With that crazy support from the fans in San Siro, Inter can even beat Barcelona, we will go through. When I saw Vecino's goal against Tottenham it was like going back to Lazio-Inter. The nerazzurri are a very strong side, they are the only one that can challenge Juve for the Scudetto. I am not impressed by Roma and Napoli are scary, but they are not up there with Inter when it comes to single players. The comeback is still possible, there's a long season ahead".
The Italo-Brazilian also discussed his former upfront partner Mauro Icardi: "Mauro is a world class player. Sometimes he gets some criticism because he doesn't help the team , but there's no one like him in front of goal. He is improving and he can become the bes striker in the Serie A and in Europe".
