A long Instagram post to announce the end of an unfortunate season. When Andrea Favilli joined Genoa in the summer he certainly expected to play more than 163 minutes sprinkled over six matches, but because of a series of injuries the striker’s season got derailed. Favilli had this to say:”Sadly my season ends early because of numerous muscular issues. I regret never having continuity, since September I was never able to do two months in a row or practices, therefore not fulfilling the expectations the club and the fans had for me. With the next season coming up, I’ll work hard every day to obtain the best condition possible and come back stronger than before”
Favilli had originally joined Genoa from Juventus on loan with option to buy, the deal was later converted ina two year loan with obligation to buy during the January window.
