Gasperini's post-match comments following Man City Atalanta

Atalanta's result against Manchester City was a lopsided defeat, but it began with a well-prepared Atalanta team taking a goal lead, before City returned with a series of well-worked goals. The coach of Atalanta Giampiero Gasperini spoke to Sky Sport afterwards: "I am upset with the penalty. It would have been difficult all the same, but we started out well and executing our plan. We could have held on a bit longer, but City's prowess is clear and we relented a bit too easily. I am happy that the team has grown, and we'll measure ourself in that way. We will carry the expeience with us in the future. We allowed them to come back too easily, we had hoped to hold onto the lead for longer. In the second half it was hard to come back, we could have done more in the first half. The club, the fans, and the team will come out of this competition for the better."
