From Verdi to Barrow: the latest on Torino's possible transfer moves

After finding a backup for starting goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu in Samir Ujkani, Torino are looking to complete a couple more pieces of business before the transfer window closes. Sportinf director Bava and president Cairo are working to bring in some reinforecements to Mazzarri's offense and the first name on their list is that of Napoli's Simone Verdi. Today the Granata will make one last attempt to sign the former Bologna player, who - for his part - would be open to a move to Torino, as he is struggling to find space under Ancelotti. Should the parties fail to reach an agreement, Torino would consider other options like AZ Alkmaar's Idrissi and, to a lesser extent, Bourdeaux's Kamano.

Torino are also trying to get another deal over the line, as they have enquired with Atalanta for a loan swap deal between two youngsters: Edera could join La Dea, while Barrow - a player that Bava knows and appreciates from his time with Atalanta's academy- could go the opposite way and become a Granata. Atalanta are evaluating the deal, as Edera is currently injured and won't be immediately available for Gasperini's squad.
