The defender spoke to Mundo Deportivo about that match: "Against Real we played a perfect game. The team demonstrated to have a real desire to realize the achievement. We had clear ideas and we came out and did what we wanted."
Now they will face Juventus in the quarterfinals of the competition: "Juventus is a very strong team, one of the favorites to win. We have to look to keep possessionand hold onto the reins of the game. It will not be easy but we can do it. Ronaldo? He is a player that has to be stopped by the whole team, we must limit him as much as possible."
Finally, he spoke about Barcelona and Atletico possibly showing interest to sign him: "The interest of huge clubs makes me happy, but in this moment I am only concentrating on the present and on the next match for Ajax."
