Former PSG coach Unai Emery uncovered a background story of his time with the French side, regarding Kylian Mbappe. The young striker announced that he feels ready to take on more responsibility, hinting to a possible departure from PSG. According to Emery, this is not the first time that Mbappè showed his desire to go elsewhere:
"When I was at PSG, we had to persuade Mbappè and his father to stay at the club - the Arsenal coach revealed to "El Larguero" on Cadena Ser - Kylian [Mbappè] wanted to go to Real Madrid and he also had the option to go to Barcelona. But he only wanted to go to Real. Then we managed to persuade him to stay, we increased our offer to him and showed him that the club's project was good", concluded Emery.
