A tragedy that shocked far more than just the world of soccer. Support is pouring in from everywhere despite it being impossible to relieve the pain which must have been caused. Twitter provides the quickest manner in which the international community can express its solidarity. Our pain and thoughts are with @ChapecoenseReal,” Juve: “Juventus expresses its condolences for the airplane accident, and offers support for the victims’ families #ForçaChape,” Lazio: “It is hard to believe what happened. Football is crying for @ChapecoenseReal. With sadness in our hearts we pray for you #ForçaChape,” and Roma: “The thoughts of AS Roma are with @ChapecoenseReal and everyone involved with the airplane tragedy in Columbia. #ForçaChapecoense.”
Neymar posted a tweet containing emoticons with an image that read “#ForçaChape.” Aguero tweeted, “I am moved and saddened by the tragedy. I express my condolences and support for the club, families, and friends #FuerzaChape“. These are only a few examples as the entire footballing community is expressing its support with the hope that it can provide some comfort.
