Stefano Pioli and his Fiorentina squad has won their second consecutive match, defeating Milan 1-0. The manager spoke to Sky Sport after the match.
"We still could have played with more quality, as we didn't always manage the balls that we recovered well. We knew that it was going to be a difficult match, but we controlled the pitch well and played with our personality. For such a young team it's a good sign, as we went into San Siro and won."
With a strong defense and being tough to beat at home, is this viola squad Champions League bound? "We are looking to grow, it's not a big deal that we had just won our first away game today, we've deserved it in other matches. I'm happy for our players today, but on Wednesday and Saturday we'll return to the pitch and must only think about working and continuing like this."
On the play of Chiesa, who scored the winner: "Federico has great skill and these are his kinds of goals. He has a great shot, he needs to grow and play in the match with more continuity. But he's working with a great heart."
