Fiorentina are targeting former Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente to bolster their attack. The Viola are in fact pushing to sign the Spanish target man, who was released by the Spurs at the end of his contract in June, so much so that sporting director Pradè held a meeting with the player's agent Frank Trimboli from Base Soccer.
The meeting was not conclusive as they player expressed his desire to evaluate all the offers he has received, especially from clubs participating in next season's Champions League. The striker, however, left the door open to a return to Italy, giving Fiorentina still a glimpse of hope.
