After a slow start to the season, Fiorentina decided to make a coaching by bringing back Cesare Prandelli. The Tuscan club's owner Rocco Commisso spoke to Lady Radio about his decision:"At the end of last season, Iachini still had a contract. He had a good ending to the season and after talking to Barone and Prade', we decided to continue with him. I believe in meritocracy and Iachini deserved to be kept for this season. Juric? A lot of names were made in the summer. Nobody guaranteed us they would do better than Iachini"
Commisso went on:"The last results and performances were disappointing. Prandelli already did well in Florence and he has my esteem. Let's hope he does well and we'll see what happens. Sarri? Certain situations needs to be understood. We already invested 300 million, there's a pandemic and revenues are down. When you make a decision you need to account for financial and club concerns. We built a good team, it was important to talk to the players too, they also have responsibility"
