Federico Chiesa, Fiorentina's 1997-born attacker, was honored at an award ceremony in Florence on Wednesday night. Recognized at the Torrino d'Oro, Chiesa gave his thoughts: "My bond with Florence is very strong, from when my dad played at Fiorentina and I would go to the stadium to watch him: I instantly fell in love with the shirt and each time I take the pitch I always give 100% for these colors. I only started my career at Fiorentina one year ago and it's an honor for me to receive this award. I dedicate it to my family who has always helped me in difficult times and has given me a boost in good times, as well I dedicate it to Fiorentina for the opportunity that they have given me. My dad doesn't give me much advice about technique, that's what the coaches are for. He helps me in the more subtle aspects of mindset, and obviously he will give me pieces of advice and I take them happily."
