Fiorentina left-back Cristiano Biraghi didn't receive the warmest of welcome when he first arrived to Florence this summer, as many Viola supporters were skeptical about his signing from Pescara. The former Inter player talked about how he became a cosistent starter for his team despite these premises: "It's normal, I've been a supporter too. Corvino was brave, as even I wasn't totally sure to be ready for such a team. But I'm happy to have proved many skeptical supporters wrong. The city always supported us and we did well, reigniting their enthusiasm" Biraghi said to Corriere dello Sport. "We are still in the race for an European spot. My future? - concludes Biraghi - For the first time in my career my economic rights are owned by one team. I feel very well here in Florence, there's no better enviroment for me at the moment. We are all working, sweating and smiling together.".
