Three consecutive braces, one against Juventus, before the stop against Atalanta. Cheick Diabaté is now thinking about Milan, trying to put off a relegation that seemed already concluded. Roberto De Zerbi's striker wants to perform well against the Rossoneri, adding their name to his list that, fixture after fixture, gets longer and longer. Before the game against Gasperini's team, Diabaté was scoring a goal every 40 minutes, a great goal average that got him the nickname "Le Monstre".
"I've always scored a lot of goals, especially in France with Bordeaux. I'm not surprised of that even if I understand that it can be weird for people that didn't know me and with the fact I'm playing for the last team in the league" has told Diabaté to La Gazzetta dello Sport. "Let's say that I do two things I love: playing football and scoring goals. I'm curious about playing against Bonucci. For now though, everything's going well thanks to De Zerbi playing style which exalts my characteristics. They call me "Cheick no limits" and I intend not to fix any limits to myself. The goals against Juve? Made me happy, doesn't happen every day to score a brace against Juventus and generally, only great players only get to do it. We didn't get any points that day though, and I came here to try to save Benevento. It's difficult but I won't give up. My future? I don't know but I'd like to stay in Italy".
