AIC president Damiano Tommasi talked about FIGC's situation after he left the meeting of the Federal Council on Wednesday, as an act of protest: "In a situation like this, the only way to voice our reasons would be go on strike and refuse to play, but it doesn't seem like a feasible option right now", says Tommasi to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Anyway, I hope that Tavecchio won't get the majority in the next Federal Council, we'll demand his and all the Council's resignation. We need to start over, but I am sure that Tavecchio we'll try to gain consensus by the redistribution of resources and roles. We are willing to listen to everybody, but we need to start a new course, otherwise we risk to make the same mistakes of the past".
