Following his injury in the match against Lecce on Sunday, Lorenzo Pellegrini will miss the next two months as he rehabs. Today Roma issued a statement on the midfielder's condition:
Lorenzo Pellegrini underwent a corrective procedure on the fifth metatarsal of his right foot on Tuesday morning.
The surgery - undertaken by Professor Santucci, in the presence of a member of the club’s medical staff - was successful.
The player is expected to complete his recovery in around 60 days.
