In the first edition of the Milan Derby this season, and first for Antonio Conte, the nerazzurri coach celebrated a 2-0 victory over Milan. Brozovic and Lukaku decided the match, and afterwards Conte spoke about the performance to DAZN: "A derby is always a special occasion and never easy to win. There is a lot of satisfaction in our camp, we played well in all aspects, and after a performance in the Champions League which left a bitter taste in our mouths.
Lukaku? He has a lot still to give, he's 26 and comes here with a lot of potential. For me it's very important. He and Lautaro, who is 22, are boys, they will continue to get chances and they can improve, but it's important that they remain available. Was peace made with Lukaku and Brozovic? Let's hope for problems like those two, they are two execptional lads. This is a healthy group, they have desire, and they want to get better and better. Tonight it was great to see the team beneath the curva, our fans deserved it."
