Ciro Immobile shared his thoughts on his career - past, present and future - when speaking with Damiano Er Faina on Instagram Live.
On Lazio: "I wanted the biancocelesti at all costs, I was happy. I quickly felt great, I liked the team and manager. I came after Klose, but I didn't commit the same error I made at Dortmund: Lewandowski left and I felt the responsibility, at Roma I preferred not to think about it. The relationship with Lotito? It's great and respectful, like with Tare and Peruzzi. Lazio is destined to remain on the up-and-up for years to come."
On Inzaghi: "Is he similar to Klopp? Yes, for the motivation that he gives you. Inzaghi is a European manager, completely. And that's what I found the best. When we spoke for that substitution? It was a gut reaction, wrong. I knew that he'd forgive me, but it wasn't right to give that reaction to people. Inzaghi managed it very well, the benching with Inter was right. In that period, we spoke a lot and resolved it, there wasn't even the need to make peace."
An anecdote on the season: "Inzaghi gets really angry at halftime. He was a beast and was right, we were not. We came back from the national team break and were doing our own thing. Then we came out from the locker-room and it was 3-3..but the penalty was scary. Gollini seemed 3 meters from me and was going to save it, but I took a great shot."
His experience at Seville: "I wasn't well. I had few chances. I thought about leaving in January, but Emery asked me to stay. After the break I scored twice, but then Emery kept me out and I thought 'he doesn't understand a thing,' as we say when you don't feel part of the group, it's useless."
