After his experience in Portugal and England, Diogo Dalot joined Milan last October. The 21 year old defender discussed his desicion to join the rossoneri in an interview with Sportweek:"I had one objective above all, feel the smell of the pitch again: I wanted to feel like a player again after the injuries I went through past three years. So far I have always been available to the manager, then I wanted to prove I deserved to play with daily work. I reached this objective, I played 16 games so far, I think this is very positive"
Dalot described his current manager Pioli:"His ability to communicate with players, making everyone feel useful and special, even if they play every match or once a month, as a manager he's doing a great job, the standings in Serie A speak for him. I believe we'll fight for the title until the end"
