Everything seemed to be set for Domenico Crisicito to join Toronto FC this month at the start of the MLS season, but the Genoa captain has decided to stay to help the club battle to avoid relegation until the end of the Serie A season, when he'll decide what to do in the future.
The Italian defender has decided to give Genoa some contiuity after they changed owners, coach and focused on a new cycle with young players. This isn't the first time Criscito has had second thoughts about a transfer- two years ago he turned down the opportunity to join Fiorentina.
