New Inter manager Antonio Conte and club management are in Madrid this weekend, with a meeting with owner Zhang Jindong soon to be held. After Conte's arrival in Milan and the announcement that he will be the club's next manager, the group traveled to the Spanish capital for the Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham. In the afternoon Conte will meet Zhang Jindong for the first time.
Today the men ate lunch together. Present for the occasion were Javier Zanetti, vice president of Inter, Dario Baccin and Piero Ausilio. Giuseppe Marotta, Alessandro Antonello and Matteo Pedinotti were also expected to join. During the lunch, a fan also asked for a selfie with Conte, complimenting him on his job done at Chelsea. It was an atmosphere of great serenity, leading up to the meeting with Zhang Jindong and being together for the Champions League final tonight at the Wanda Metropolitano.
