There have been new contacts made between Gennaro Gattuso and Lazio. The former Milan coach is the top choice for the club to replace Simone Inzaghi for the spot on the bench next season - up until now the current coach is not expected to reach a deal to continue on. In the meantime, Lazio are looking to complete a deal with Gattuso, as Lazio look to plan their next moves towards a likely future without Inzaghi.
