After the sale of Vignato to Bologna, Chievo looked for reinforcement through the January transfer market. Class of '97 winger Jonathan Morsay from Gif Sundsvall will be joining the club. A left winger, Morsay is the new choice for Sporting Director Sergio Pellissier to strengthen Marcolini's squad. The Swede has already appeared 70 times in league play with 7 goals and 9 assists. He plays with the youth national team and had a contract that expired in 2020.
