VAR has been a staple of Serie A dating back to last season, and after being introduced in the recent World Cup, it will now also be used in the Champions League. The video review will be introduced in Europe’s top competition next season, while it will be part of the Europa Lsague starting in 2020/21- UEFA announced the development with a tweet in their official account.
