With Napoli-Juventus approaching, the footballing expert Fabio Capello couldn’t avoid giving his say on the matter. Here is what he had to say to Il Corriere dello Sport:
“I’m very curious because two great teams are facing each other. I’d have preferred for this game to come at a different time: With all the players returning from International duty, the quality of the game might decrease. Juventus is extremely strong, but Napoli plays well. I don’t think this game can re-open the fight for the title. Juventus is too mature, they know how to deal with any game. Higuain? It would be fair for Napoli fans to greet him without bitterness. Football players are professionals, free to make their own choices to reach the top. I know Gonzalo from the times at Real Madrid, I know the type of guy he is and how much he cares about his career. Sometimes professionals are obliged to make certain choices. I think the only thing players shouldn’t do, is kiss the crest of the jersey in their new team. If you leave, how do you explain such a gesture? Other than that, it can happen to make certain decisions”.
