The satisfactions regarding Maran's work, a transfer window to plan and a relegation to avoid. Tommaso Giulini, Cagliari's president, has a lot on his mind after his team's made it through more than half of the season. Big wins and good performances at home, few points taken away, a trend that needs to be changed to reach this season's objective: "Seems like we have a team that plays our games home and another one for the away games, I think that I'll have both teams meet each other", has he told, joking, to Il Corriere dello Sport.

"Maran? We're really satisfied to work with him, we've repeatedly repeated him we trust him. We'll stay with him next season. We're also ready to extend sporting director's  (Carli) contract. Our technical working group, with Andrea Cossu and Roberto Colombo, will have more responsabilities on the choices for next season".

About the transfer window: "We want to build an even stronger team, we already have some reinfrocements like Castro, Klavan and Birsa who we haven't seen a lot because of the injuries. I don't forget about Luca Pellegrini, who's helped us a lot at the moment: the objective is to convince Roma to extend the loan deal. Regarding Srna, Cigarini and Padoin, we'd like to renew their contracts once we've reached our objective, and same goes for Cacciatore".

About Barella: "He's never been close to be sold in January, Napoli were really interested and I can't deny it though. His valutation is higher than 50m, also because because his favorite team will be 100 years old next year. We hope he keeps growing with our jersey on, he makes me think of Nainggolan even if Nicolò has mroe technical skills than Radja. Interest from Inter? Only rumors".
