Now it's official: Roberto De Zerbi is the new coach of Brighton. The Premier League club confirmed this with an official statement. The Italian coach, who replaces Potter (who is now at Chelsea) has signed a four-year contract.

After the experiences with Sassuolo and Shakhtar, De Zerbi's future will be in the Premier League, at Brighton. After filing the last details today, the English club has made the arrival of the coach official. "We believe Roberto is ideally and culturally ideal for Brighton & Hove Albion, and the right person to bring the club's progress to life." So reads the club's statement. De Zerbi will be made official on Tuesday and not tomorrow, out of respect for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. De Zerbi's debut on the bench in the Premier League could take place on October 1, at Anfield, against Liverpool.
