After Eugenio Corini's sacking, Brescia welcomed their new manager Fabio Grosso today. The 2006 World Cup hero introduced himself at today's press conference:"For me this is a fascinating opportunity and I hope to transmit my passion to the players quickly. I give my best to Eugenio (Corini) who is a friend, and I reiterate the compliments I gave him in the past, I know what foundation he left. I look forward and want to leave my mark. I'm proud and happy, it will be a difficult but stimulating adventure"
Grosso was asked about his two signature players:"Balotelli is a generous and happy person, I see an enormous potential. At times he has demonstrated it, he just needs to be consistent. Tonali? His development will depend on staying involved. But as a start he'll play in the middle of the pitch. Mario and Sandro are our bright spots, we need to get the most out of them".
