After being sent home early during the training on Thursday, Mario Balotelli could be left out of the match day squad for Brescia's away game against Roma. Coach Fabio Grosso addressed this situation in the pre-match press conference: "When I see someone that doesn't train the way I like to see my players train, I prefer to put him aside. I don't want to blow this out of proportion but neither I want to play it down. I can get so far with him, then he needs to help himself".
The coach now needs to make the decision on whether bringing Balotelli to Rome, after discussing the situation with the rest of the squad: "I prefer to speak with the rest of the team and then tell him my decision. I don't regret anything I said to Mario, I am keen to be able to use his characteristics on the pitch. The substitution against Torino has nothing to do with this, it's already in the past. You need to be willing to suffer and fight in this league. I chose to do what I did, without any kind of pressure", Grosso conluded.
