Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Hans-Joachim Watzke confirms four months of negotiations with Henrikh Mkhitaryan which ended negatively. Mkhitaryan’s contract will expire in June 2017 and a sale of the Armenian trequartista looks imminent. Here are Watzke’s words to Il Bild: “We negotiated with Mkhitaryan for four months. We now know he won’t be renewing”.
