Mystery surrounding Borussia Dortmund's Ousmane Dembele, as the player did not show up to training today and he is no where to be found. In fact, BVB's manager Bosz stated, "He does not answer the phone, we're trying to figure out where he is, but he is literally gone."
It is a weird time for a disappearance as the player has emerged as Barcelona's number one choice for a Neymar replacement. The German club knows the blaugrana are flush with cash after they received 222 million euros from PSG, and Borussia has declined every offer submitted thus far as they are holding out for a much higher fee. We will soon find out if Dembele did not show up to training because he is trying to force his club into selling him to Barca. If this is the case, we could really see the transfer materialize in the coming hours.
