After being the protagonists of one of the longest saga of last transfer window, Bologna winger Simone Verdi discuss his choice to stay with the Rossoblu, despite Napoli's interest. "Riva and Rossi turned down a big club too? I'm not the only fool, then. - says Verdi in an interview with Il Corriere della Sera - Jokes aside, I didn't turn down Napoli, I chose to stay here in Bologna because I couldn't leave them in January. They put faith in me, they bought me the season after I got relegated with Carpi. Napoli's offer could have changed my career, I know that. But at 25 I've already played for six clubs, now I have found my home here. Someone says that I said no to Napoli because I'm wating for Inter, Milan or Juventus. But that's ridicoulous and false. I can think with my own head. The problem was never Napoli."
